Can you really earn some income just by leaving your computer on? That's what GOMEZ , a peer-to-peer distributing network company, promises. The basic idea is that you install an application that uses your computer's processing power to test the performance of websites around the world.
For those afraid of Adware and performance drops, GOMEZ has an unnoticeable memory footprint on your computer, and Internet speed is not changed. I've been using it for a few weeks and barely notice it. However, GOMEZ is relatively new and may be a little buggy at times. You should just quit the program and restart it if you run into any trouble.
So the money part. You get paid a few cents from offering GOMEZ your computer's processing power. This may not sound like a lot, but there's a way to multiply your income. GOMEZ encourages you to install and run it's peer application on ANY computer you have, so you don't need to make multiple accounts - just install the app on different CPU's you have access to. Moreover, there is a referral program in which you can earn $1 for every person you refer - meaning that the other person has to install the software on their machine for you to get your monies.
Once you sign up, remember to put your PayPal, Alipay, or Moneybookers account for payment. Also, remember to fill out your "payment and address" settings that match up with your paypal (& etc) account information. All these details sound kind of complex, but the whole process seriously takes about 10 minutes and after that, you just leave your computer on.
